Welcome to The Garage — the studio space behind Sunbeam Ceramics. We fire with a Skutt KM-1027, internal dimensions of the kiln are 23'“x23”x27”. We use Laguna Clay WC397, which is an off-white mid-range stoneware with fine sand. We have 15+ mid-range glazes available for use, as well as an array of AMACO Velvet Underglazes. Use of your own clay and glazes in the studio is allowed with prior approval from Madeline. Firings take place weekly, alternating bisque and glaze cycles.

Indoor workspace in the studio is limited to about 2-3 people at a time, but there is ample outdoor courtyard space to work as well, weather permitting.
